Dear Writers,
Isn't it time to get a little dreamy?
Turn off the newsfeed and pick up a pencil?
Envision something--big or small--that could make a difference in our world?
A favorite colleague, Sarah Carey, and I are excited to introduce Another Way: A Creative Writing + Storytelling Project!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
YOU'RE INVITED TO . . .
Pretend it’s 2040, 2075, etc. and consider: how are we ideally caring for the earth and/or each other?
-Are we redesigning towns – adding features like more sidewalks, bike paths and public transit?
-Or squelching consumerism and embracing conservation, with a return to carpentry or sewing? Or a swapping of chain stores for general stores?
-Is child and elder care being reimagined? Are they somehow combined?

Let your imagination run wild or let intense practicality be your guide. Be artful, be simple. It’s all welcome.
Create a snapshot of the future you want – be it in a short story, letter, prayer, song, essay, or other form. See submission guidelines. Submission deadline-11/2.
